Requirements
- Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
Or completed training and initial professional experience in the software field.
As a young company in the new media sector, we develop innovative eLearning platforms for large and medium-sized companies for organization-wide software training. Our projects have already won the European E-Learning Award in 2007 and the Enterprise Workspace Award in 2019, and we were named E-Learning Provider of the Year in the same year.
We are looking for dedicated, creative individuals for our IT and development department, either as part-time employees or on a student trainee contract.
Your responsibilities
- Support in the development and maintenance of web applications using PHP
- Participate in database design, optimization, and administration under the guidance of experienced developers
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of RESTful APIs for communication between different systems
- Support in the development and integration of microservices to improve scalability and performance
- Learn the configuration and administration of web servers, especially Apache and IIS
- Organize, execute, and document integration tests
- Actively participate in the creation of test documents, including test plans and test reports
- Perform manual and automated tests to ensure software quality
- Collaborate with the development team to identify, analyze, and resolve defects
Your qualifications
- (Completed) degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualification
- Basic experience in software development with PHP (knowledge of Yii or Symfony is an advantage)
- Basic knowledge of MySQL and/or SQL Server
- Interest in developing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Basic knowledge of web server configuration and administration
- Initial experience in front-end development with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Interest in testing and quality management
Advantageous: - Knowledge of app development (Teams, Office 365, Windows)
