We’ve got something really special in store for you this update!
We’re proud to present:
soluzione42 Web with a brand new look and feel!
In addition to a revamped user interface with a modern design, there are a bunch of new features that you won’t want to miss. Join us on a tour and experience first-hand all these changes, designed with your needs in mind.

Together, we’ve tinkered, hammered and assembled—and it was worth it! Discover soluzione42 Web’s intuitive and modern new user interface—for everyone, everywhere:
- The heart of our new design is the personalizable homepage:
- With clean lines, vibrant colors and clever accents, we've implemented a modern, well-structured design.
- Course and click path navigation has been simplified. Decluttered and newly conceptualized sections makes interactive lookup even easier and faster.
- The soluzione42 Web introductory tour will show you around—follow the pop-up tour, watch the video, read our PDF guide, or save it for later. We offer options for beginners and experts alike.
- Marvin, our robot avatar, will guide you through an introduction to the new user interface.
- Our redesigned video player and quick referenceclick path integrates seamlessly with the new user interface.
- Here are some of the new functions that make learning and searching even more attractive:
- Improve collaboration with colleagues: You can now easily share learning and support contents with others, making it quick and easy to pass along helpful tips.
- Save favorites and access your personal history of previously opened learning units: This will save you valuable time when you need to return to helpful learning and support content.
- soluzione42 App Innovations:
- Sharing and visited features and new video player & click path design in the soluzione42 app.

Important technical innovations
- Update of all used server components (Apache, PHP, MySQL)
- Use of a patched version of the search component “Solr“ that was affected by the Log4j security gap. For older releases, a workaround is available.
- Search optimization for better search results
- Support of soluzione42 Web for most tablets operating on Android or iPadOS.

- Microsoft Teams offers exciting new ways to optimize collaboration and self-organization, e.g.:
- Create a task from a message
- Create subgroups in a team using tags to simplify targeted communication
- Organize Webinars with different roles, registration, and participant data analysis
- Outlook 365 offers some new helpful features:
- Automatically schedule buffer time between two appointments
- Display automatic translations of foreign language email content
- Insert shortened file link into an email and set access permissions directly on the link

Look forward to our new FindTime course. In 14 learning units we’ll introduce you to FindTime’s most important functions. So you can easily plan and create appointments within and outside your company. FindTime’s organizer dashboard lets you keep track of all your appointment scheduling.

With soluzione42 you’ll learn how to use Windows and Office to make your workplace more accessible. This course will give you insights into how Microsoft’s accessibility features can accommodate users‘ various needs and make your everyday work easier, too.
NEW: Switching from Skype to Teams is here
Microsoft is retiring Skype for Business Online and on-premise. Learn how you and your employees can switch from Skype to Teams in this new course. You can still communicate and collaborate effectively using Teams. And collaboration is supported by many helpful features and interfaces to other apps. But Teams can do even more: calls, conferencing, chat, document collaboration—now, everything is in one place.
